"I had six honest serving men. They taught me all I knew. Their names were: Where, What, When, Why, How and Who." ~Rudyard Kipling
PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Craig Ahern
During my fourteen years in public education, I have been an elementary, middle, and high school teacher. I have also taught as an adjunct instructor at Concordia University for 7 years. My B.A. in Psychology was earned from U.W. Parkside and I received an M.A.T. in Education from National Louis University. Instructing online learning has become a growing passion for myself that I hope will soon work its way even more into my professional career.
In 2006 I began as an adjunct instructor in the Educational Research Department at Concordia University in Chicago. During that time, I searched for ways to bring online learning to the university. In 2011 I was asked to write a research in psychology course for Concordia University to prepare school counselors to perform research online. I have also worked as a online course facilitator at Concordia University teaching research for counselors online.
When not busy working, I am focused on my family. My wife, Julie and I have two daughters who are 9 and 11. During the academic school year we spend our time juggling Girl Scouts and music events, as well as planning our next summer getaway.
